Our National Credits & Incentives Tax practice is currently looking for Director candidates to enhance and perhaps lead our current team.  We are looking for a driven and motivated individual with Credits and Incentives (“C&I”) Tax experience along with a strong client service and business development background as well. The position will be located in alliantgroup’s national headquarters in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities will include:

• The opportunity to leverage your C&I knowledge base to create solutions for our clients in the C&I space
• Developing and marketing C&I tax consulting opportunities to over 4,000 clients of the firm
• Participating in all aspects of the C&I engagement – from planning to marketing to execution of the engagement
• Attending client meetings with alliantgroup tax directors and professionals

Qualified candidates will possess:

• 5+ years public accounting experience in which 3 or more of those years are in the area of C&I
• Strong research and writing skills
• Previous supervisory and management experience
• Previous Business Development and marketing ability for both federal and state credits is required
• BS in accounting and CPA preferred, or alternatively, a J.D. / LL.M
