After a number of high-profile data breaches and a surge in cyberattacks targeting small to mid-size businesses in recent years, cybersecurity has become a top priority for policymakers in the U.S. and abroad.

In response to growing concerns around data security, last year saw the passage of new cybersecurity regulations in the form of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Together, these newly enacted policies will have long-term implications for any company doing business within the EU (GDPR) or the state of California (CCPA), and all companies must be prepared to comply with these new regulations or be subject to stringent penalties for inadequate data security measures. Considering the broad domestic and international reach of these regulations, businesses should be taking steps now to ensure their compliance.

To ensure businesses are adequately prepared, RGCybersecurity will be hosting a complimentary webinar covering GDPR, CCPA and other important topics revolving around cybersecurity. Please join us as RGCybersecurity Senior Vice President Rick Lazio, Vice President Jon Murphy and Director Robert Wonish cover a range of topics including:

  • Effective data security strategies and protocols
  • Best business practices to ensure regulatory compliance
  • A discussion on where liability falls with regard to cybersecurity measures

Please attend this informative webinar on everything business owners need to know regarding recent or upcoming cybersecurity regulations
