WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
CEOs, Presidents, Partners and CFOs of Architecture, Engineering and Construction/Contracting Firms
Tuesday, January 14th, 2020 from 12:00 – 12:30 PM CT
Capitol Hill worked through the holidays to deliver on a tax extenders package that included the extension of the Section 179D Energy Efficient Commercial Buildings deduction. Commercial building owners who implement energy efficient enhancements to their buildings and architects, engineers and contractors who make energy efficiency improvements to government-owned buildings can qualify for a substantial tax deduction under 179D.
Now the 179D provision has been extended for another year and projects put into service before December 31, 2020 may qualify. The Section 179D deduction has received strong bipartisan support and there is a strong possibility it will be made a permanent fixture of the tax code, but there is no guarantee that this powerful tax incentive will be extended again. That is why we’ll be hosting a complimentary presentation breaking down everything you need to know about Section 179D.
Join our hosts Sean Lustyan and Andres Arroyo as they explain what’s new with 179D and how you can claim this lucrative government reward. This quick presentation will take 15 minutes and you can register for it below.
Sean Lustyan is alliantgroup’s Director of Energy Services and is based in our Houston national office.
