Jackie Buck Joins alliantgroup’s Strategic Advisory Board

HOUSTON, TX. FEBRUARY 4, 2015 – alliantgroup is proud to announce the addition of Jackie Buck, Vice President of Finance and Administration at Harper Construction, to the firm’s Strategic Advisory Board. A longtime executive, Buck brings more than 30 years of experience to the firm and is recognized nationally as a leading expert within the construction industry. As a member of alliantgroup’s Strategic Advisory Board, Buck will continue her service to the industry by helping construction and construction-related companies claim the valuable tax credits and incentives they are fully entitled to under the tax code.

In addition to her executive position with Harper Construction, Buck currently serves as the Vice President of Finance & Accounting for AGI General Contracting. Prior to joining AGI, Buck held other executive posts within the construction industry, serving as the Regional Vice President of Textura LLC (a construction management software company) from 2006-2008 and was the Executive Vice President of Finance and Administration for R.D. Olson Construction for over 17 years. Over the course of her career, Buck has overseen every aspect of a construction business, spanning from accounting and finance, contract administration, IT, legal and human resources.

An active member within the financial management sector of the industry, Buck has been a CFMA member since 1986 and has held every national office for the association, including Chairman in 2004-2005. She is also a past Chairman of the Institute of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals (ICCIFP) and is an industry speaker for AICPA, AGC, CFMA, NAWIC and Lorman Educational Services.
