In his new position, Walji will be responsible for shaping the direction of the company’s Research and Development Tax Credit services as well as serving as one of the primary leaders of the firm’s growing R&D Implementation Department.

Prior to his promotion, Walji was a Senior Associate Director and the firm’s practice leader for the construction industry. As the practice leader in the R&D Implementation Department, Walji led a team of construction, architecture, engineering and MEP professionals to help businesses identify and claim the R&D Tax Credit. In total, Walji has personally conducted over 350 R&D Tax Credit studies for clients in the aforementioned industries and helped these businesses claim over $30 million in federal and state tax credits.
In addition to his specialization in design and construction, Walji has performed studies for clients from a variety of other industries. He is an attorney by trade and is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas. He received his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law.
