Within the past year, alliantgroup has invested in numerous philanthropic efforts for the benefit of the city of Houston and the state of Texas. Among the most notable endeavors are the firm’s commitment to advancing STEM education in public schools and universities. Within the last year, alliantgroup has held events to increase exposure to STEM education at an early age, such as the company’s sponsorship of a Parker Elementary field trip to the Houston Museum of Natural Science. This fall, the firm also rolled out its new STEM scholarship program for high school students within the state of Texas.

In addition to its investments in education, alliantgroup has done volunteer work for Habitat for Humanity, the Ronald McDonald House and Leukemia Texas. The company has been heavily involved in Hurricane Harvey relief efforts and recently rolled out the Blue Heart Fund, the firm’s non-profit charitable effort created to support alliantgroup employees, clients and CPA partners and their families in the wake of recent natural disasters. The Blue Heart Fund will also serve to offer financial support for future STEM education initiatives.
