Adam is a mission-focused home care advocate, transformational leader, and successful entrepreneur who built an industry-leading home care agency after spearheading innovative software architecture for three tech startups.
Fueled by losing his mom to a seven-year battle with heart disease at age 50, he joined his father’s small senior companion service firm in 2009.
Over the next 13 years, Adam co-founded with his family and organically grew Seniors In Place into a top 5% Private Duty Home Care agency in New Jersey.
He established a world-class team of hundreds of W-2 employees, scaled operations, and maintained an independently verified ‘Accredited with Distinction’ agency that provided more than 3 million hours of life-changing service.
With vision and broad acumen, Adam transitioned the lifestyle business into a high-growth, high-value company that succeeded through the pandemic—all while preserving a family-based culture. Solidifying this legacy, he strategized and brought Seniors In Place, through a successful exit, into the hands of North America’s largest provider of in-home care.
Throughout his journey, Adam has been an empowering elder care activist. He served the Home Health Services Association of New Jersey for six years; as Board President, he transitioned leadership to an all-volunteer team, expanded the Board of Directors, created Committees to empower membership, and supported the industry through the pandemic. Adam then negotiated a mutually-beneficial merger with the Home Care Association of America and served as the Chair, then Board Advisor of the NJ Chapter until the end of 2022. He also served on the Board of Trustees for the Commission on Accreditation for Home Care for eight years.
Adam’s impact can be felt far beyond the boardroom. He worked with primary government sponsors in introducing two new pieces of legislation, which were signed into law, and bolstered protection for individual consumers and the industry that provides access to home care in New Jersey.
Adam was born and raised in New Jersey, where he lives with his wife, two children, and their chocolate lab. He loves spending quality time with his family, especially in or on the water.
