Congress agrees to sunset ERC after January, 31
A tentative bipartisan agreement to end the Employee Retention Credit early has been reached. With the incentive set to expire sooner than expected, businesses shouldn’t miss the only opportunity to claim up to six figures in refunds.
If you’ve experienced any of these disruptions, you need to speak with one of our experts today:
- Full or partial government-mandated shutdowns;
- Capacity limitations;
- Supply chain issues;
- Decrease in working hours to sanitize facilities;
- Shift in hours of operation; or
- Decrease in revenue.
The ERC claims processing will resume soon and for eligible businesses this could mean a potential six-figure addition to their bottom line.
However, be aware that the credit sunsets within weeks, and you could lose hundreds of thousands of dollars by delaying the assessment.
Leverage this benefit at the earliest, if your businesses faced any of the following disruptions:
- Full or partial government-mandated shutdowns;
- Capacity limitations;
- Supply chain issues;
- Decrease in working hours to sanitize facilities;
- Shift in hours of operation; or
- Decrease in revenue.
