alliantgroup Sponsors Build-A-Bike Charity Event at NSCA’s Pivot to Profit Conference

HOUSTON, Oct. 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — As part of the firm’s community outreach initiative, alliantgroup sponsored the National Systems Contractors Association’s (NSCA) inaugural Build-A-Bike Team Building charity event during NSCA’s Pivot to Profit conference at the Atlanta Airport Marriott.

During the event, alliantgroup volunteers led a bike-building workshop for NSCA members, with attendees split into teams and provided the parts and tools necessary to build brand new bikes. An exercise that was designed to promote team building and networking amongst new colleagues, NSCA members were given the opportunity to use their technical problem-solving for a good cause. The new bikes were later donated and presented to the children of the Joseph B. Whitehead Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta.

“We’re so grateful for this opportunity with NSCA. We always encourage our Club kids to learn new skills and expand their horizons,” said Deidre Tolbert, Executive Director of Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta. “The bike-building experience is just another fun, positive way to show our youth that anything is possible with hard work and an open mind.”

Sponsored by the Blue Heart Fund, alliantgroup’s nonprofit charity, the bike-building event is just the latest in a growing list of charitable initiatives focusing on STEM-education and other philanthropic community outreach efforts.

“At alliantgroup, we have made investing in and giving back to our communities a top priority,” said alliantgroup CEO Dhaval Jadav. “Through the Blue Heart Fund, we will continue this investment to ensure the next generation has the same opportunities we had to be successful and to follow their dreams.”

“This was a fantastic experience for our members and one that was devoted to a great cause,” said Chuck Wilson, Executive Director of NSCA. “I would like to thank alliantgroup for sponsoring the event and I look forward to partnering with them once more on future community outreach efforts.”
